There’s nothing quite like walking into the Vin Scully Press Box at Dodger Stadium and taking in the view of the ballpark, especially when it’s just an hour or so before a World Series game. The Dodgers and Red Sox were about to play Game 4 of the 2018 World Series and there was a buzz in the air as the hometown crowd finally had reason to be excited. The night before, the Dodgers won a classic, beating the Red Sox in the longest game in World Series history — 18 innings over seven hours and 20 minutes. The crowd excitement reached a peak in Game 4 when Yasiel Puig hit a three-run home run in the sixth inning, giving the Dodgers a 4-0 lead. But in the end, it was the Red Sox that rallied for a Game 4 victory, as well as Game 5 the following day to win the World Series.
